WordPress Dropdown Menu Plugin Version 2.1 Beta
We’re back into Beta mode with the plugin. I’ve added support for Superfish style animated dropdowns. You can control the speed, mouseover time delay and mouseout time delays of the dropdown via the WordPress options page.
Demo
The new demo is very pretty, I hope you like it … live demonstration.

Lorne - It should be compatible with the latest version, but I have only tested it on the WordPress 2.5 RC2, not the final stable version.
What sort of errors are you getting?

Hi Ryan / All
Nice to see the beta of the new drop down, Ill still stay with the “old” version for a while since I’m not that much into coding. 2 Questions on my test site i would like to change the length of the menu where can I do that?
Q2. In IE i still see the old gray menu on-top on the new Ryan heller menu, but in Firefox this is just as a thin line. How can i get rid of the old menu completely?
Happy to get a answer from anyone, I have tried to look into several PHP files but I have really no idea what to look for.
Any help appreciated!
Regards,
Daniel

David - There is definitely no need to remove database entries.
The problem with the scripts is caused by the following script which you have on your page:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.CreativeCrib.com/wp-content/plugins/wpg2/js/prototype.js"></script>I’m not sure what the clash is exactly, but if possible I will fix it. I’m not sure when that will be though.
I’m not sure what is causing your exclude function problems. Are you following the instructions correctly? ie: using ID numbers instead of names and seperating them with commas?

I deleted the plugin and then reinstalled and still the same problem exists. Do I need to delete any database entries when deinstalling?

Something peculiar is happening as well: the header scripts aren’t working, i.e.

etc.

Both don’t seem to work. I’m using WordPress 2.3.2.
Thanks!

David - I can’t replicate the problem you are reporting. It is functioning fine for me.
What version of WordPress are you using? My test blog is on Version 2.5 RC1 and I haven’t tried the latest version of the Beta on any older versions, but I assumed it wouldn’t be a problem.

Thanks for the bug report David. Is the exclude function not working for pages, categories or both?
David on: March 23rd, 2008 at 12:26 pm
The exclude function doesn’t seem to work. No log errors though.
Thanks.
