Crib revisited

The following is a panorama I created a long time ago of Toko Mouth. It was originally created with an old film camera of my mum’s and since the film was her’s, she never let me chop them photos up and turn them into the panorama I was trying to create. Scanners weren’t readily available back then, but thankfully she let me borrow them to scan recently, and here is the final product in all it’s glory … albeit many years later than I had intended!

Oops! It seems these are not the photos I thought they were. These are photos taken by my Mum. The ones I was thinking of were probably on my own camera. Sorry Mum!

Sarah and I at the crib

Sarah and I headed to my parents crib (holiday house) in Toko Mouth for the night, before heading south to the Catlins for some site seeing.

This photo was taken near Purakanui falls in the Catlins the next day.

Holes at Toko Mouth

Here are my holes from the mid-late 1980′s … actually, they’re not meant to be holes, the adults just didn’t get it. What I was trying to do was to create a barrier of sand so big that I could sit on the beach and watch the waves crash around me. It never worked very well (duh!) but I did build some rather large barriers in a vain attempt to stop the ocean. Wasted youth :p
