@bronsonquick @bjornjohansen I didn't realise WordPress feeds also call the "init" hook. When I requested the feed, it requested itself!

@bronsonquick @bjornjohansen It was a script which did an http request back to itself and hence went into an infinite loop.

Diagnosed a PHP bug based on the sound my MacBook fan made and via assistance from @bjornjohansen

@EricMann That's awesome, not ominous. If someone didn't intentionally install an extension, then it's malicious and should be removed.
