WordPress Dropdown Menu Plugin Version 2.1 Beta

We’re back into Beta mode with the plugin. I’ve added support for Superfish style animated dropdowns. You can control the speed, mouseover time delay and mouseout time delays of the dropdown via the WordPress options page.

Demo

The new demo is very pretty, I hope you like it … live demonstration.

Ryan - Thank you for your reply. I gave it a shot but keep getting error returns - I am very new at this.

Roger - interesting request! I hadn’t thought of that before. The best way to go about doing that would be to edit the CSS file which comes with the plugin. If you have any troubles with this, then let me know and I’ll work out what you need to change to achieve this.

Great plugin! Is there a way to set a transparent background since there is no hex code for transparency.

Karim. On looking at my demo site, it seems that I haven’t tested it with the next level. I’ll take a look tonight and see if I can sort out a fix for that.

In retrospect this probably should have been an alpha release. This thing (until now) was as buggy as Vista.

Version 1.1.4 is now available and includes all of the old functions.

Troy - I’ve added a credit to you in the readme.txt file for helping with the bug reporting.

Dammit. Yes you are correct, it is missing all of those functions. That is a mistake on my part.

Even more importantly, it seemed to be outputting the wrong HTML to the page :( This problem has now been corrected, and version 1.1.3 is now available for download.

I’ll sort out the other problems and hopefully have a 1.1.4 version with the old functions added back in shortly.

The 1.1.2 beta version of the suckerfish plugin seems to be missing the suckerfish1, suckerfish2, functions that were in the previous plugin. I uninstalled the previous version… do I need to have both installed?

I’ve heard a report of a user receiving a MySQL error when installing the plugin. I’ll take a look at this tonight and see if I can find a solution for it.
