WordPress Dropdown Menu Plugin Version 2.1 Beta
We’re back into Beta mode with the plugin. I’ve added support for Superfish style animated dropdowns. You can control the speed, mouseover time delay and mouseout time delays of the dropdown via the WordPress options page.
Demo
The new demo is very pretty, I hope you like it … live demonstration.

Mel - on second thought, you may need to replace the code above with the following to ensure your floats are cleared:
<div class="clearfloat">And replace the closing </ul> with a </div> tag.

Mel - You are applying two UL’s to the same list. Try removing the following code and it’s corresponding tag and hopefully your problem will be corrected.
<ul id="nav" class="clearfloat">Let me know if that doesn’t work and I’ll take another look for you.

Thanks Dan. The next version will say 1.1.x as I’m likely to forget to add this again due to all the updates I’ve been doing lately.

Just a quick note : you left “version: 1.1.2″ in the php file of version 1.1.4, so it still appears as 1.1.2 in the Wordpress plugins page.

I’m using your plugin on my site - http://www.chucktv.net - but must have done something wrong as the fly out menu (under Spoilers) is visible by default rather than when you mouseover Season 1. Help?

Kugelblitz - try editing the following colour code in your CSS file:
#suckerfishnav a:hover {color: #b80f0f;}Karim on: February 28th, 2008 at 3:37 pm

Highlighting the actual Page
Hey Ryan,
very cool Plugin indeed, see you like Simplicity too.
I use the “simple” Hemingway Wordpress Theme and your Latest (1.1.4) Suckerfish WordPress Dropdown Menu.
Now I got stuck with the CSS styling. The active Page should be highlighted (White background, Black font).
like this http://kisd.de/~martinb/foren/Suckerfish_WordPress.png
I could not manage to get the highlight. You can have a look at:
http://kisd.de/~martinb/www/martin-on-tour_wordpress/
The mouseover highlight works. But as soon as I have selected a page it goes back to a regular “button”.
You can get my CSS File from http://kisd.de/~martinb/www/martin-on-tour_wordpress/wp-content/plugins/ryans_suckerfish/ryans_suckerfish.css
Thanks for any help.

Lol, thanks William
Let me know if it doesn’t work. I haven’t tested any of those codes and there’s always a possibility I made a mistake.
