launch lightbox from a separate page link

Is there a way to launch a lightbox from one page when the slimbox code/images are on a different page.
The reason I need to do this is because I have a WP theme page template that allows an image with a link but there would be no way to include all of the other slimbox code needed to launch the lightbox.

So long as you have a url to the image and the thumbnail (regardless of where the images are actually stored) you can display them with Slimbox, however it’s not possible to do so without the necessary javascripts…

I don’t follow how your WP theme page template would prevent the usage of plugins…
