@harrietvsworld I'm not going to be told off if I don't do it though. I'll just fall behind in class.

@harrietvsworld Compulsory? Well I guess it's compulsory if I don't want to be a monolingual moron.

Ohhh, just discovered I can change my Chromebooks wallpaper now. Anyone know if that's a new update too? Or just something I've missed?

New Chromebooks announced yesterday. Big update today. I'm guessing that's not a coincidence.

Hmm, Chromebook appears to fixed an ongoing Chrome sync bug I've been experiencing too. Good day to be a Chromebook owner it seems.

Not only is it flipped, but I think my Chromebook is two-finger scrolling a LOT faster now too. Much less jerky than it was a few hours ago.

Egads, my Chromebook just flipped it's two finger scroll direction like how OSX did a while back. Very confusing.

@XanaduHowTo I'm resorting to eating cheap nasty pizza by myself for dinner tonight. We must make up for it tomorrow

@nakrissimo Warghhh! All the pretty girls are busy this evening I'm going to go buy pizza to make up for it

@nakrissimo Poisoned? That doesn't sound good at all! I might go get a kebab (which is probably also poisoned)

@nakrissimo Damnit! That last tweet of yours is making me hungry. What was that? And can I get one in Grunnerløkka?

@ryandonsullivan Grow more crops My guess (based on not much) is that this is not of practical use, or at least not for creating fuel.

@ryandonsullivan I get the concept, but I'd have thought it was more efficient to just grow more plants and convert them into alcohol.

@nakrissimo Minnie TheBruiser informs you have a much better surface now which will be good. Rubber didn't seem all that appealing.

@nakrissimo I'm not sure how long they'll take to arrive. Hopefully only a few weeks, but we'll see.

@nakrissimo I've FINALLY ordered for my skates to be sent from New Zealand! Rollerderby reffing here I come!

@TurcuCiprian My ChromeBook has WAYY better battery life so is ideal for travel so long as I don't need to do dev work.

@TurcuCiprian My only issue with the ChromeBook, is that if I want to work whilst travelling, I need my MacBook.

@TurcuCiprian I only use those things for work. Everything else in the browser for me.

@TurcuCiprian What apps do you use? I don't generally use any. I try to stay in a browser at all times.

@TurcuCiprian It's also by far the most secure thing you could reasonably use for internet banking. So they're ideal if you are paranoid.

@TurcuCiprian Oh, and complex photo editing, but basic stuff I do via the ChromeBook's built in photo editing tool.

@TurcuCiprian I guess I use it like people do an iPad, but it has a keyboard and screen.

I use my MacBook Air for dev work, but everything else I do on my Chromebook. @TurcuCiprian

I use my MacBook Air about half the time. Rest of the time I use my Chromebook. @jstr

I wan't planning on replacing my trusty Chromebook, but this is VERY tempting! … http://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/devices/samsung-chromebook.html Doesn't even have a fan!

I recall something being mentioned about WordPress handling high res. displays better in version 3.5. Any ideas on where that's at?

RT @squaregirl: A guy just jumped out of space and we still can't properly vertically align with CSS.

@Rarst I don't think I can recall seeing a computer with a Mic input in the back. They're usually on the sides or sometimes the front.

@no_fear_inc I wish they'd just use regular audio/mic inputs. Much simpler that way.

@dave_sherratt Cool Thanks for the update. Are you able to watch the YouTube feed? YouTube is still down for me unfortunately.

@no_fear_inc No idea. I have a Logitech headset, but it's kinda crappy as it only works via USB.

RT @Hexxeh @ryanhellyer: “Yep, @FeIixBaumgartnr broke YouTube.” bigger achievement than the actual jump? #livejump

@dave_sherratt He remember he had a stability chute. Maybe that slowed him down during the freefall bit?

@williamsba Your country rules at space exploration. It'd be great to see you guys doing some more totally insane stuff like in the 60's.

@omrisancho That definitely explains my confusion. I was assuming he'd need to be doing some totally insane speed to manage it.

@omrisancho Speed of sound gets slower at higher altitudes, I thought it was the opposite. HEADBANG!

@omrisancho I'm cynical. I'd have thought the air would slow him down too much once he approached the surface. I'll do some googling …

@omrisancho What was the link for? I don't see anything about using gravity to break it on there.

@SiobhanPMcKeown YouTube has caches all over the globe, so it was probably a local cache that maxed out perhaps.

@omrisancho I thought it was the speed of sound at sea level, not the actual speed of sound. Maybe I misunderstood.

@omrisancho Ahh, I don't think it is possible to reach the sound barrier via gravity. You wouldn't even get close.

Is anyone else managing to watch the skydive? All I get is a loading symbol on the YouTube stream

@TCBarrett I ended up going for a Samsung GS3, so not quite "phablet" territory, but big enough for most things IMO.

@TCBarrett I've considered buying a small tablet before, but decided I'd make better use of a big phone.

@TCBarrett I don't know anything about that sort of thing. I always buy my own devices.

@TCBarrett A phone that's big enough to almost be called a tablet. Like the Samsung Galaxy Note.

@miss_jwo @no_fear_inc @chrislema Thanks Your suggestions are somewhere around what I had in mind. The 60 min talks I find a bit long.

Why is Facebook telling everyone what I've looked at? So much for stalking in privacy!

@alexkingorg Congrats on Twitter Tools 3. I hope it's a worthy replacement for the now sadly defunct Wickett Twitter widget.

@Japh Thanks for the input. I'm confused though. What is the plugin reminding you to do?

@bronsonquick I update my own sites with SVN. Backups I plan to do with cronjob and S3CMD command line tool.

@benjaminbradley Dang! More praise for @infinitewp I'm glad I suggested it to my colleagues this morning.

@bronsonquick We need a few more features than just auto-updating, so @infinitewp is looking promising so far.

@zedejose Hmmm. Well I've only been using Norwegian so hopefully they're not like that.

@zedejose Fascinating. I've actually launched sites by downloading the EN version, then dumping in language files.

@zedejose I wasn't aware there are any localized PHP files apart from the wp-config file.

@zedejose I love that it's a hosted platform rather than trusting a third party with my client data.

Messing around with http://infinitewp.com at the moment. Anyone have experience with it? Good or bad?
