RT @WPRealm: The very first WordPress Codex Sprint: http://wprealm.com/blog/the-very-first-wordpress-mid-week-codex-sprint/
@konstruktors @hanlasse I think it will be a difficult concept for people to grok.
@hanlasse @konstruktors Hopefully I'm wrong. The world needs more sites built like that. The basic concept of simple static sites is great.
@hanlasse @konstruktors http://viaorbiter.com/ is a nice little tool. I'm not sure it'll be very popular as people always want more, not less.
@hanlasse We certainly can't accuse of @konstruktors of over-complicating his site designs
@hanlasse Are you possibly referring to the design at http://viaorbiter.com/? In which case that is not even WordPress.
@hanlasse What are you referring to?
@konstruktors Do you know if it lets you map domains to it?
@konstruktors Looks like you have another addition for your list of static site generators on http://viaorbiter.com/ … http://www.engadget.com/2012/11/30/google-drive-adds-site-publishing/

RT @BoweFrankema: Me and @noeltock have taken the liberty to redesign @ryanhellyer his site header. I think it turned out great: http:/ …
Sigh. I've been wondering why WP trunk was munted for so long. It turned out my cron initiated SVN updates were failing
I need examples of WordPress pointers / tooltips in plugins/themes. Do you know of any examples? I can only think of WordPress SEO.
@benhuson That other plugin is used on a large site I'm working on which has major debug problems. Anything to lesson the debugs is good
@benhuson Oh, I didn't even realise you were the author, lol. I thought you were just recommending it.
@benhuson I might switch to the other one then if you think it is better.
@benhuson This is the one it replaced … http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mailfrom/. This is the one I linked to … http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-from-email/
@benhuson I think you are confused with another plugin.
@benhuson Have you tried this one? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-from-email/ Any ideas on which one is best?
My favourite WordPress plugin which is NOT in the .org repo is "Minimum Password Strength by @itsananderson …http://www.itsananderson.com/plugins/minimum-password-strength/

@KimDotcom Who will play you?
@Rarst @Mamaduka I kept seeing that sort of code, but could never figure out what the & was there for.
@Mamaduka Oh I see. I always wondered what that & symbol was for.
@Mamaduka How else could you do it?
@trepmal You even got a mention in the Codex whilst asleep … http://codex.wordpress.org/Modifying_Options_Pages
@trepmal Well clearly you should sleep more often!
@Mamaduka That looks better than when I used %%%. Thanks
%%% code goes here %%% appears to do the trick @ipstenu @andrea_r
Anyone out there know how to add code to http://WordPress.org wiki pages? http://codex.wordpress.org/Modifying_Options_Pages cc/ @ipstenu @andrea_r
@ipstenu It's under control @andrea_r just pre-empted my page update
@andrea_r I'm working on it
@PauldeWouters I don't have any WP books. @trepmal's code worked flawlessly though so am utilising that
@Jghazally 1 to 2 kg.
Big eh? Looking forward to hearing what you have in store RT @williamsba: BIG @webdevstudios announcement at 10am EST. Stay tuned
@scottbasgaard The codex page is confusing as heck, so I'm utilizing the code from @trepmal instead. Thanks
The solution to my previous question has been answered by @trepmal I think … http://trepmal.com/2011/03/07/add-field-to-general-settings-page/

Fascinating … RT @ZaraL_Tweet: ‘English is a Scandinavian language’ http://www.newsinenglish.no/2012/11/27/english-is-a-scandinavian-language/ From @norwaynews, interesting perspective!
@bjornjohansen I left my power adaptor behind. Thankfully it's only 3 km away, so I'll just have to scamper home in a hurry at lunch time.
@bjornjohansen It's sitting on my desk at the office.
@kgjerstad Careful use of plugins can avoid such problems
@NinjaLikesCheez That's not gonna happen anyway. 1 GB is a crazy low limit I'd have set. I'll try to remember to bump it up tonight for you.
@NinjaLikesCheez Nahhh. Worst case scenario is that you get banned.
@NinjaLikesCheez Weird. I must have the limit really low.
I just figured out how old my blog is from a really old email. It was launched on August 4th 2007. I had no idea it was so old!
@simonwheatley @CarolynWillitts Sun, snow and fun all wrapped up in one easy weekend jaunt to the beautiful Oslo fiord area.
@westi Arghh, you are going to swamp the market! We should all bandy together and start price fixing to keep us in business!
Awesome deal! RT @Viper007Bond: I’m running a special deal for Cyber Monday — 50% off my plugins on .org repo but only while supplies last!
@fevered Gotta wonder where someone's mind is wandering when they don't realise that is inappropriate though.
@fevered Perhaps send him these tweets. Seeing it in type might make it more obvious that what he is doing is ludicrously inappropriate.
@fevered I know people who make jokes like that, but they're very careful about where, when and who they say them to.
@fevered What sort of person is it that is making these jokes?
@no_fear_inc @Rarst @JJJ My experience of Netbeans was of the slowest text editor I've ever used.
@Rarst Do you know if it is faster than Netbeans? I tried that, but found it drove me crazy with how slow it was, so I went back to Komodo.
@Rarst "For Java-based IDE's" … that doesn't sound like a promising start.
@Rarst How do you find PHP Storm is performance wise? I find many larger text editors are just too damn slow. @DeFries
Is this true? Are Swedes really importing rubbish? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgEbDZM5YJg Found courtesy of @konstruktors
@simonwheatley Yeah, I did that. But it still seemed much less coherent to me than dump in raw $vars.
@MZAWeb I clearly need to learn more about this. cc/ @simonwheatley
@simonwheatley I've been working with one today which has over 10 variables in it. When I want to add another, I find it really messy.
Does anyone else find it confusing as heck when code is riddled with printf's instead of just dumping the variables out directly?
@zamoose lolz
@Rarst Come to WordCamp Norway 2013 January 26th/27th.

@simonwheatley I was also thinking of making that tool auto-email the developer so they can provide feedback on the problems found.
@simonwheatley I was thinking of a hosted solution which ran automated tests for performance, injected links etc.
@simonwheatley There is nothing available that does the sort of checks I have in mind.
Check out my new blog post on @WPRealm "Are Your Plugins Secure? Part 2" … http://wprealm.com/blog/are-your-plugins-secure-part-2/
@TurcuCiprian @SunleyNZ People pronounce "yeah" and "year" differently? That's even weirder!
@zedejose My air's are just fine! I'm going to go knock back a bear and go to sleep.
@zedejose @SiobhanPMcKeown @simonwheatley We have a good air for this stuff down south.
@zedejose I hair yah! @SiobhanPMcKeown and co. need to be more pedantic and learn to pronounce "ear" and "air" correctly (ie: the same).
@rhyswynne Jetpack screws everything up in my experience. I've had nothing but troubles trying to use Jetpack locally.
@simonwheatley @SiobhanPMcKeown I hare that you English folks struggle with English some times.
@simonwheatley Beer with me whilst I teach @SiobhanPMcKeown good Engrish.
@SiobhanPMcKeown @simonwheatley I am sitting hair drinking my bear.
@simonwheatley Harsh! @SiobhanPMcKeown is not THAT weird. She just gets confused and thinks "here" and "hair" are pronounced differently.
@sarabeee I think that's just stupid people that call them "liberians"
@SiobhanPMcKeown Yes, everyone outside of Dunedin in New Zealand is very very weird!
@sarabeee "beer" and "bear" are pronounced identically. There is no difference at all.
Holy crap! I just discovered I pronounce "ear" and "air" slightly differently. Didn't realise til @SunleyNZ pointed it out.
@stevegallagher I'm pretty sure I was taught at primary school, that "hair" and "here" are pronounced identically.
@stevegallagher Huh!? "Air" and "ear" are pronounced identically.
@jstr Oh, that's weird!
@jstr Do you also pronounce "air" and "ear" differently?
@zamoose What you just described would sound exactly identical if I said them.
@jstr Do you pronounce beer and bear differently?
@SiobhanPMcKeown That's bizarre. You people are weird.
@jstr WTF? How can they possibly be different?
Do you pronounce "hair" and "here" differently? I just heard that some people say them differently!?!?
@Rarst I'm not seeing any negativity there.
@Rarst I want @bjornjohansen to turn it into a WordPress theme and submit it to the repository.
