@miss_jwo Yep, I tried that too. No matter what I do on those hooks, they appear to have not happened when the menu is built.

@miss_jwo I'm filtering with locale(), but no matter what I set at wp_before_admin_bar_render(), I can't detect it at locale().

@Rarst That example does not differentiate between frontend and backend. It just translates everything.

@dgwyer That sounds like a plugin which will be very popular. Subscriptions to support forums are a commonly requested feature.

@dinicmilan I guess there are some other things that can be helpful, like how to alter stuff via JS if absolutely necessary.

@kimparsell Unit tests?

@dinicmilan Only other things to know are to use media queries and whether to set it to autozoom or not.

@dinicmilan If you learn the fundamentals of CSS then the rest is simple.
