@NinjaLikesCheez Yep, but I'm crazy busy today and don't have login credentials at hand.

My VPS host Linode has been extremely understanding of some problems I've had lately. Thanks @linode

@andrea_r Since it's only US copyright law, I guess that means we can download them at will anyway

@chip_bennett That was the one you forked way back due to being kicked off the repo. right?

@chip_bennett If it'd been network activated I'd have written an upgrade script for it. Upgrading thousands of blogs would be bad

@chip_bennett I was deploying it on a multisite network. Thankfully it wasn't used in many places.

@TCBarrett @SiobhanPMcKeown Twitter is public??? What? Noooooo! Damn you Twitter and your evil privacy policies!

I made a fixit plugin for some bugs in the WP Twitter Feed widget. Here it is in case anyone has a use for it … http://geek.ryanhellyer.net/products/wp-twitter-feed-fix/

@ipstenu I've turned it off for 60 secs and had a site indexed by Google. They take weeks to remove it, but they still obey it, eventually.

@ipstenu Yup, I found that straight away. It makes more sense there. Less cluttered. Confused the bajeesus out of me for a few mins though.

That confusing moment when you realise you aren't going (more) crazy, and they have indeed removed options-privacy.php from WordPress.

@k0nsl @ldebrouwer @jellybeen @SiobhanPMcKeown @JellyBeen I'm yet to run into anything but minor problems running my live site on trunk.

@JellyBeen Thanks. You just made me go check and realise I'm still on RC2! I think my Cron is broken.

@PauldeWouters The WP Native Dashboard triggers an error when I try to use the frontend admin bar setting'

@PauldeWouters @Rarst Not sure. I forgot about that plugin so will go try it out later. Thanks for pointing it out.

@miss_jwo Yep, I tried that too. No matter what I do on those hooks, they appear to have not happened when the menu is built.

@miss_jwo I'm filtering with locale(), but no matter what I set at wp_before_admin_bar_render(), I can't detect it at locale().

@Rarst It doesn't do what I want. I've searched and came up with nothing. That's why I'm trying to build it myself.

@miss_jwo Yup, I've been trying to use that, but to no effect There's something I'm not understanding about how it works.

@Rarst That example does not differentiate between frontend and backend. It just translates everything.

@miss_jwo Dang, if that works then that is one heck of a simple route to achieving my goal!

I need to translate the WP admin bar, without translating the content on the front-end of the site. Any ideas on how to implement this?

@dgwyer That sounds like a plugin which will be very popular. Subscriptions to support forums are a commonly requested feature.

@dinicmilan I guess there are some other things that can be helpful, like how to alter stuff via JS if absolutely necessary.

@dinicmilan Only other things to know are to use media queries and whether to set it to autozoom or not.

@olivM That was my line of thought too. Others seem to disagree and prefer to replicate production.

@kimparsell I have no idea why my text replicated like that. I never wrote "appears". Tried deleting and resending. Same text popped up!?

@dinicmilan Thanks. I thought the menu was a bit weird though. I haven't gotten to that yet.

@kimparsell The zip seems to be available now … The zip appears to be available now … http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.5-RC4.zip

@kimparsell Yep, that's coz they just bumped the version in Trac (hence I knew it was going up). I don't think RC installs are upgrading yet

An excellent plugin for tracking theme usage in WordPress multisite courtesy of @sillygrampy … http://wpmututorials.com/plugins/wordpress-mu-theme-stats/

@CoenJacobs It tests if the code will work in the future. It saves having to do a double test.

@CoenJacobs A staging environment for testing code before pushing to the live server.

WordPress question: Is it common to run trunk on staging servers? Or is it standard to replicate the current production server?
